Convert JSON data into a printable PDF document online. Preview formatted JSON with indentation, choose a font size and page orientation, then download the result as a PDF or plain text file directly from your browser.
Generate a printable PDF containing your JSON with readable indentation and a monospace-style layout. The output is designed for inspection, documentation, sharing, and archiving. Long values are wrapped and the document is paginated by size and orientation.
Preview the formatted JSON before creating the PDF. This lets you confirm that the input parsed correctly and that the output is readable.
Choose the available font size and switch between portrait and landscape orientation to improve readability for narrow or wide JSON content.
Download the formatted result as a PDF for printing or sharing, or save it as a plain text file for use in an editor, script, or documentation workflow.
Paste JSON into the editor or open a .json file from your device. The input is read and formatted in the browser.
The PDF is built from real text objects instead of a screenshot, so keys and values stay selectable in compatible readers. Text mode applies to content within the built-in PDF fonts; JSON containing other characters is exported as a rendered image.
JSON parsing and document generation happen in your browser. The page does not require an account or upload the source JSON to a remote conversion service.
Paste a JSON object or array into the input field, or open a .json file from your device. The input must be valid JSON before it can be formatted.
Click Preview JSON to validate and format the input. Check the indentation, long lines, nested structures, and overall readability before downloading.
Select the available font size and choose portrait or landscape orientation. Landscape may be easier to read when JSON lines are wide.
Download the formatted JSON as a PDF for printing, sharing, or archiving, or use the TXT download when you need editable plain text.

A JSON to PDF converter turns structured JSON data into a printable document. Instead of viewing raw JSON only in a code editor or browser, you can create a PDF that is easier to share, print, attach to documentation, or archive.
This page generates a formatted JSON document. It preserves the JSON representation as readable text rather than automatically turning every array into a report table or every object into a business document.
There are different ways to represent JSON in a PDF. A text-oriented converter preserves the familiar JSON syntax, indentation, braces, arrays, and key-value relationships. A report-oriented converter may instead render arrays as tables, objects as key-value sections, and nested data as a structured report.
Choose a table or report layout when the goal is to communicate data to non-technical readers. Choose formatted JSON when preserving the machine-readable structure is more important.
Portrait orientation is usually suitable for ordinary formatted JSON. Landscape orientation can make wide lines easier to inspect, especially when keys are long or the document contains deeply nested values. Orientation does not automatically wrap every line correctly, so very long strings and URLs may still require horizontal review or additional layout rules.
A PDF generated with text objects can generally be selected and searched in a compatible PDF viewer. This is different from exporting a screenshot, where the visible characters may not be available as searchable text.
Which one you get depends on the characters in the JSON. Content that only uses characters covered by the built-in PDF fonts is written as real text objects. Content with characters outside that set, such as CJK text, is exported as a rendered image so the file still displays correctly, but that text cannot be selected or searched.
Use a report-oriented converter when you need a title, table layout, page size, margins, repeated table headers, row numbers, or a more polished presentation. Current JSON-to-PDF tools in the SERP increasingly provide arrays-to-table output, key-value layouts, report titles, page options, and print-ready formatting.[205][206][208][214]
This page is designed to format JSON and generate the document in the browser rather than sending the source data to a remote conversion service. That can be useful for development data and internal documentation. It is not a replacement for secure document handling, so avoid entering credentials, private customer information, API keys, or production secrets into any online tool.
Always retain the original JSON when the data may need to be parsed again. A PDF is useful for reading, printing, and sharing, but it is not a lossless substitute for the source JSON structure or its machine-readable types.
